Sonia Gibson
DIRECTOR
I’ve always loved solving puzzles and empowering people to help themselves. Accounting Heart brings these two passions of mine – my head and heart – together.
My approach accounting is to gain deeper insight into you, your business and financial situation. While figures might send you batty, to me they tell the unique story of your business. It’s my role to translate that story into one you’ll understand so you can then write it your own way to achieve greater success.
When I’m not working I love bush walking with my husband Wayne, and exploring the great natural beauty of my local Sutherland Shire and all around Australia.

Jenina Nunag
TEAM LEADER
I began my career in tax while completing my Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Tax double major) at a boutique firm in Perth. Since then, I’ve worked in large accounting firms and a not-for-profit organisation, qualified as a Chartered Accountant, and led a bookkeeping and business advisory team.
Based in Perth, I’m the Team Leader at Accounting Heart, working closely with Sonia and overseeing accounting, tax, and advisory services with clients’ best interests at heart and a focus on supporting them in running their business.
Outside of work, I enjoy listening to accounting and true crime podcasts, spending time with my son, and mixing cocktails for friends (even though I don’t drink much myself!) 😂.

Sharon Horwell
CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER
I’m the ‘paper tamer’ in our paperless office! My organisational super powers make sure Accounting Heart’s systems and processes run smoothly.
I live in Queensland with my husband, Scott, and our two gorgeous children. I love going for walks on the beach, live music and socialising with family and friends.

ADMINISTRATOR
I enjoy providing administrative support to the team to help keep the office running smoothly and take pride in my attention to detail and strong work ethic. I live in the Sutherland Shire with my husband, 4 children and 2 cavoodles. Outside of work, I enjoy watching my kids play sport and like to relax at home cooking or spending time in my garden.

Samantha Dechosa
ACCOUNTANT + SMSF SPECIALIST
I started my career in accounting with a focus on SMSFs and quickly discovered a passion for solving complex problems with smart strategies and precision. Along the way, I’ve built strong skills in compliance and advisory, always working closely with clients and the team to ensure every detail is right.
Outside of work, I enjoy crochet projects and spending time with my two energetic pups, who keep me just as busy as any spreadsheet.

Rose Anne De Leon
ACCOUNTANT
I’ve built my reputation and career in accounting on the same values I uphold in my personal life: to persevere and keep moving forward. During my time in corporate accounting, I developed both an eye for detail and a heart for collaboration - skills I now bring to my role as a tax accountant and continue to refine.
Outside of work, I’m a true homebody. It usually takes some convincing from my husband, family, or friends, but one plan I can’t resist is eating out!
